Gui Zhi / Huang Qi:

Huang Qi type of person it’s easy to eat a lot, the water is in their skin. They are like a tight balloon, often flabby. Different to Bai Zhu/Fu Ling people, their fluid is in the interior which decreases the appetite.

  • + Gen Gen 20-60 to send the blood to the head

SS: Xue Bi (blood stroke – multiplemyeloma), peripheral neuropathy, sweating – especially after meals, SOB after exercise.

SS: Long Gu = Pulsing below the navel, panic, lack of calm, agitation, loss of Jing and Blood. Mu Li = Effect is very similar to LG + it treats chest oppression, heart palpitations, dizziness, headaches, night sweats, agitation and nocturnal emission. GZJLGML formula: Dry constitution. Chest and abdominal pulsation, fright, spontaneous/night sweating, insomnia with many dreams, Pulse: floating, big without strength (yang is floating away) *key, Tongue: red/pink with scanty moss. This formula is for internal deficiency without evil.

Ruling out this formula: Don’t use this formula is you see: Pulse: deep and thin or deep and full or big. Tongue: dark red (constrained heat), thick, yellow tongue moss (damp heat).
